Hello all, as I write this I am in the midst of composing the final chapter and sending it off to my Editors Three. I was really concerned about the final fight scene, but after writing it I'm really pretty happy with it. Yet again, I'm biased and I haven't read it back all the way, but I really like the ideas that I used and it turned out to be much more meaty than I thought it was going to.
I've had the idea for the final chapter and how to end the story for a few weeks, but now that I am here I am having trouble letting it go. I'm wondering if I need one more scene, one more chapter, one more whatever. I think it's just me having trouble almost being finished with this labor of love. It's been a lot of my thoughts and free time during the past couple months, so it's feeling like the end of a season of a show I really like. I usually end up watching the season finale of shows several times because I have a hard time letting go. I plan on continuing here during the editing process, but I doubt my team will take that long to give me their corrections and feedback. They're not going to sit on it for long, they seem to be almost as excited as I am about it.
I want to thank all of you for reading this blog and I will have a finished product for you soon. I still have to write a book description for the website and the back cover and that is very intimidating. I think how many books I have read just because I liked the description and I start to get all nervous. Brief descriptions aren't really my thing, but I think I have some ideas that will draw people in...at least I hope so.
