I'm using a lot of words to say...

Good evening everybody, and by everybody I mean the 1 follower of this blog so far (thanks Yertle).

Today was a VERY long day at work and in fact I am still working while I also try to plug away at meeting my End of July self imposed deadline.  It's actually looking pretty good.  I have a couple more chapters planned out and then the big boss fight which I hope that I can get to be long enough to give you all something that has some heft to it.  It's not going to be a George RR Martin length book, but I'm hoping for something around the Hobbit.

The Story's Origin Story

Welcome to the first official post about Sudden Onset Evolution's Evolution!
As of writing this I am at least 2/3 of the way done with my book!  I'm hoping with the holiday weekend coming up I will find time to just sit and write without too many distractions, but I'll probably spend time updating this site because writing isn't as easy as just typing here.  It's funny because I get really mad at Scott Lynch, the author of the Gentleman Bastards series, for Tweeting all the time but taking 3 years between books.  Now I understand a little bit.

First!!!!

Oh, I guess that doesn't really mean that much when it is your own blog.
This is about my journey to write a story that has come from several places over several years.  It began with one story all together, but I could never get that to suss out, but I liked some of the characters I had created and just couldn't let them go.  This story came from my need to write about Lady Splendid and Mitosis.  I just really liked the idea of Mitosis and I really wanted to write some bitchy dialogue for Lady Splendid.
