Introducing Gamer

Meet Todd Kalinski, a slightly more than slightly overweight 20 something who wears ironic tee shirts and LOVES video games.  When S.O.E. hit Todd he was given the ability to use his laptop to  bring video games to life.  The better and more real the game, the better his real life version of it is.  He bestowed upon himself the superhero name Gamer, and he started The Slackers, joined by NinChick and Powerful Dude.  He not only is the founder, but he is the heart and soul of the team.  When The Quad broke up, Mitosis came and became the leader of The Slackers.  Gamer really never understood why Mitosis choose them, but he was glad that he did.  Gamer isn't a leader and when he tries to be he gets uncomfortable and self-conscious.  He has a heart that is always covered by his custom made Laptop chest piece that allows him to flip the computer up into his chest, but he can flip it down to quickly code a horde of zombies or a battalion of Roman centurions.
Gamer doesn't have the passion for the life the way that either NinChick or Powerful Dude does.  NinChick enjoys the fighting and is very good at it.  Powerful Dude enjoys being a superhero and everything that comes with that.  Gamer would be just as happy being a superhero in a video game as he is doing it in real life.  He does enjoy creatively using his abilities, however, and is sometimes more interested in finding an interesting video game to utilize in battle than he is with maybe the best one to use.  Under the leadership of Mitosis he has been reigned in with Mitosis giving out battle strategies.  Gamer always wonders if Mitosis plays video games and that's why he knows what to use, or if he just did his research, but he leans towards the latter.
Gamer is intensely loyal to his friends and worries about them.  It's his house they meet in.  It is his tech they rely on to stay in touch with each other and the world, and he feels it is his responsibility to keep them together and safe.  The other Slackers like taking advantage of this and tease him by not checking in just to freak him out.  Gamer is a good guy all the way down to his core, but if someone he cares about is in danger he will summon a wizard riding a dragon to set things straight!
