Hello to those that have found this and/or just followed the links I posted on my Facebook wall. It appears that there are some of you who have come from another source and so I'm asking how you stumbled upon this and what do you think so far. In all the articles I have read about self-publishing they say you have to have a blog, but I'm not exactly sure why. Once I have an actual product I'll link it here and do some sort of advertising to draw people here to view it. The link will be on the Amazon page and I'll start a FB page and prolly advertise and FB and try to figure out someway to use Twitter. I dunno.
Tell me what you'd like to read. For those of you who know me, don't just say 'do something funny', please. I'll get to that when I've done enough book crap. Please comment and let me know what you like or what you would like and I'll see what I can do. I get stats for page views and sources and browsers and all that stuff and I really like stats. Just let me know who you are and how you got here and if there is any part of this venture you would like me to talk about. I'm happy to do it.
So Say We All...

Two questions I have...
ReplyDelete1) What makes SOE different than X-Men?
2) How much of the population of the world was affected?
Bonus question, are people trying to figure out the cause of the Onset?
You have me intrigued!
1. With SOE there is no genetic difference between the afflicted and the non-afflicted. With X-Men they are saying the mutants are a completely different species, but here there is no difference that they've found other than the powers.
Delete2. I cover this in the book, but it is unknown what the percentage is as many kept their powers hidden out of fear and many died (like the accountant in the opening post) and the death wasn't known to have been caused by this since nobody knew.
Bonus: Yes, there were people who were trying to figure it out but most research has stagnated. That is not to say that everyone has given up the search for an answer and perhaps there is something about that in the book itself.
Did I do a decent job of answering but still pointing to the book for further details, because that was my goal!
Cool, thanks!
ReplyDeleteUnrelated to that, can you add a widget to receive email updates for new posts? (I see the RSS Subscribe stuff, but I'm not a fan of that.)
